Nestled in the Karas Mountain, with the dry Goibib River ‘running’ through the property, Goibib Mountain Lodge is a tranquil hideaway between Grunau and Keetmanshoop, just off the B1 road between Cape Town and Windhoek. 

Bring your camera and capture this pristine environment with a variety of wildlife both great and small as well as a sizable herd of majestic Nguni cattle. From wide-angle landscape shots to close-up, macro-photography, which brings the little things to light, the area is a photographer’s dream. The curious can even explore the nightlife with fluorescent light and discover the nocturnal world around us. 

Our accommodation consists of 8 spacious standard rooms, furnished to a high standard and fitted with all the comforts of home, allowing guests to relax and recuperate. En-suite bathroom facilities, air-conditioning, and television with local and satellite channels are available, as are a mini-bar, built-in safe for valuables, coffee/tea station, and wireless internet connection.
